Ordinations 2025-2026

CWACM is excited to announce three ordinations in the coming 12 months!

Our three ordinands, Dorothee Benz (known to all as “Benz”), Jo Schonewolf, and Adam Marshall each, and together, exemplify the core values of the Movement: Community-Faith-Justice.

To support the costs of each ordination, CWACM has created an Ordination Fund. The money raised will be used by the ordinands for their ordination expenses, including worship leadership, preacher, music leader and musicians, venue costs, hospitality expenses and other general expenses.

Benz will be ordained on July 5, 2025 in New York City;

Jo will be ordained on August 2, 2025 at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina;

Adam will be ordained in the spring of 2026 in San Diego.

CWACM has, throughout our history, provided access to active members to attend CWACM events offering scholarships. With three more ordinations within the next 12 months, we believe that the need for resources to attend will be greater than ever. We ask, if you have the means, that you share with those who cannot afford the costs, yet whose presence would further enrich a Community Event that celebrates, and lives, true progressive values of equity and inclusion.
